Exercises to stop snoring are designed to strengthen the muscles of the throat, tongue and jaw in order to allow you to breathe comfortably during sleep. These exercises are similar to those used by singers to warm up their voice and when practiced regularly they've proved to be very effective in reducing or eliminating snoring.
Sprays are also a very popular treatment for snoring. Leading brands claim that with a mixture of natural oils and herbs, the compact and portable spray works by toning the soft muscle and preventing snoring. The spray is very convenient as it can be carried around and can be applied easily. Even though the sprays claim to work immediately, they only treat one of the many reasons why people snore and are not effective for everyone. Additionally, sprays are likely to run out when being used on a regular basis and purchasing new bottles continuously will not be cheap.
On the other hand, what causes you to snore? The most plausible reason as to why you snore at night is because there are some sort of blockage in your breathing pathway when you sleep, thus hindering your ability to breathe properly throughout the night. These blockages can be caused by weak muscles in your mouth, as sometimes they are unable to hold themselves in their natural position while you sleep. When that happens, it will becomes a blockage within your breathing area.
While each of these things may sound like good ideas, none of them constitute what one would consider to be the single best way to stop snoring. Why? Because none of these methods offer any type of permanent solution to snoring. None of them address the problem of snoring at its root cause. They merely provide temporary relief for that particular night only. Stop using any of these methods and your snoring will come back that very same night.
Do not require attaching any physical devices to your body. (Let's face it: You don't want to spend the rest of your life sleeping with a nasal strip, a nasal dilator or some kind of sleep positioner do you? It sure won't help your love life, if you are looking forward to nights of spontaneous passion.)

Once you are done in the lab your Doctors can tell you exactly what is going on and can give you options to take to help correct it. Often times they can be small things such as losing weight, while they can be more extreme and require surgery or have you sleep with a mask on to help regulate oxygen. The reason you need to get help as soon as possible is because snoring signals a lack of breathing while you sleep meaning a lack of oxygen flow to your brain.
